Column packing needs appropriate liquid distribution system with appropriate design to effectively wash the whole packing layer. The liquid distribution condition of one packing layer.

To realize the best mass transfer performance of a packed column, the liquid must be evenly distributed on the cross section of the whole packing layer. Other important characteristics of the liquid distributor include low gas pressure drop, low sensitivity to pollutants and low overall height. If necessary, multiple liquid feeding currents can be handled. The liquid distributor should have level adjusting function to ensure the liquid is uniformly distributed on the whole distribution section.
